It is my pleasure to share the great wines of The Walls. The winery is located in Walla Walla and has a beautiful interior and great backyard space. It is an amazing spot for a glass of wine.
WinemakerSally Johnson Blum and Associate Winemaker Peter Urian joined the team a few yeas back. Johnson Blum has a massive amount of experience, formerly being at St. Francis and Pride in Sonoma County. She also has served as winemaking consultant at Mullan Road under Dennis Cakebread. She is a great person who also makes a world-class Rose from Napa.
I love the 2023 The Walls ‘Wonderful Nightmare’ (OB, 93) which is a dense and chewy wine made form Tempranillo grapes. I adore the 2023 ‘Curiositas’ Cabernet Sauvignon (OB, 96) which is just as good as last year’s wine, with serious flavor density.
