Dear Friends,
I want to offer my warmest holiday greetings from Washington Wine Blog. I hope you all are enjoying a wonderful holiday season. It has been a fruitful 2017 here at Washington Wine Blog. I want to wish you all of my deepest thanks for supporting the blog. A lot has happened for me professionally this year. This is my third year senior editor at International Wine Report, reviewing wines for them primarily from Washington, Oregon and California. Our WWB editors, Dr. Stephen Lee and Dr. Jae Hong, have been contributing with Washington red wine reviews adding some nice depth to WWB. This year I’ve had the chance to sample some stunning domestic wines and interview many people behind those wines. We now have hundreds of winery features and over 80 interviews which we want to continue to build on in 2018.
I have had the great pleasure of selecting 100 exceptional domestic wines to comprise my Top 100 for 2017. With a strong focus from my Oregon and Washington Reports, I have had the opportunity to review more wines than any other year. In our 2017 Top 100 we have several good value wine selections, starting at a mere $8.00.
