The vineyard was purchased by the Jackson Family in 2013 and relies on the winemaking talents of Shane Moore and consulting winemaker Tony Rynders, the mastermind behind Tendril, Child’s Play, Panther Creek and many others. Tony was the former winemaker of Domaine Serene before starting his own winery, Tendril in 2008.

2014 Zena Crown ‘The Sum’ Pinot Noir- This great wine is sourced from the 1st, 12th and 14th blocks in the vineyard, utilizing clones 4 and 667. They have utilized 40% whole cluster fermentation as the wine was aged for 16 months in French oak prior to bottling. This translucent colored wine begins with intense aromatics of forest floor, peat moss, baking spices, red cherry and red currant. The texture is smooth and downright inviting to you, as you savor, cherry pie, red raspberry, guava puree and spice box flavors with black truffle essence.
