Some big news out of Walla Walla as Basel Cellars is known now as Yellowhawk Resort. To celebrate they have created The Shindig which is an end of summer party at the resort that includes a Friday evening reception and wine tasting event, as well as the Saturday Grand Gallop dinner and auction. Both events will spotlight area wineries and feature live music from local musicians. The auction is hosted in partnership with the Blue Mountain Community Foundation to raise funds to support the local wine and culinary industry workforce and local nonprofits that are helping children have a healthy post-pandemic return to school.
Some incredible wineries will be there including Reynvaan, Sleight of Hand, Leonetti, Long Shadows and many others.

Yellowhawk Resort was purchased in December 2020 by Pacific Northwest hospitality leaders Dan Thiessen, Chad Mackay, Scott Clark, Philip Christofides and Paul Mackay and is part of the Revelers Club collection of properties. The sparkling wine program is led by winemaker George-Anne Robertson and they will be making a host of reds, whites and sparkling wines. They are also selling some of their older Basel Cellars wines.
