A house with serous history, Champagne Brice dates back to the 17th century as the Brice family has lived in the village of Bouzy since the 17th century. Three generations ago, they were focussed exclusively on red wine production, shifting to Champagne elaboration just after WWII. The house headed today by brothers Jean-Rene and Remi has a “no-nonsense” approach to wine making and strive to reveal the true nature of the Terroir of four villages that are Ay, Bouzy, Cramant and Verzenay.
I loved the new wines by Champagne Brice, especially the NV Champagne Brice ‘Blanc de Noirs’ (OB, 93) which was very dense and shows incredible finesse. This beauty will go for another ten years.
