Perez Pascuas ‘Vina Pedrosa La Navilla’ Ribera del Duero- The 100% Tempranillo ‘La Navilla’ by Vina Pedrosa delivers wild blackberries alongside dark truffle shavings, anise and freshly tilled salty soils on the nose. The palate shows beautiful freshness and purity of dark and red fruit flavors. Graphite and refined tannins caress the palate, as this finishes long with tart red fruits and copious minerals. 2015 Bodegas Hnos. Perez Pascuas ‘El Pedrosal Reserva’ Ribera del Duero- The 2015 Bodegas Hnos. Perez Pascuas ‘El Pedrosal’ is a downright brilliant effort from this warm vintage in Ribera. On the nose this takes on graphite and tilled stony and salty soils that combine with a great core of dark fruits. The palate shows fantastic tension and a light dusting of salinity that falls on the black cherry and black raspberry flavors alongside shades of kumquat zest.
