Here are the beautiful NV releases by Delamotte.

Champagne Delamotte

December 21, 2024

One of the great values in the region, Champagne Delamotte is located in the heart of the Cote de Blancs and is the sister winery of famed house Champagne Salon. This historic house dates back to the 1760s and sources from some of the great vineyards in Champagne, including those located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize and Oger, as well as the Cote des Blancs, marvelously highlight world class Chardonnay. I’ve been enchanted by these wines for many years. Didier Depond serves as general manager for Delamotte as well as for Salon. Like Salon, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes for Delamotte are sourced  from Grand Cru-rated vineyards. The Delamotte range of wines offers more approachability, than those made at Salon — but also share some really good cellaring potential.

The new wines were consistently great by Delamotte including their gorgeous NV ‘Blanc de Blancs’ Champagne (OB, 93) which is a beautiful value that is already drinking beautifully, made with 10% reserve wines. Find out more about this historic Champagne house at https://www.champagne-delamotte.com/en/ Here are the gorgeous new wines by Champagne Delamotte

NV Delamotte Brut Champagne- This great NV champagne was given 8G/L dosage. Lovely salinity runs through the core of ripe peaches and pears alongside ginger notes. Enjoy now and over the next few years. Drink 2024-2030- 91

NV Delamotte Rose Champagne- Soft and refined on the mousse, the NV Delamotte Rose utilizes 7G/L dosage. Composed of 80% Pinot Noir with 20% Chardonnay (from Le Mesnil), this delivers bright red fruits that combine with citrus rind and green melon accents on the palate. Enjoy now and over the next several years. Drink 2024-2030- 92

NV Delamotte ‘Blanc de Blancs’ Champagne- A killer value, the NV Delamotte ‘Blanc de Blancs’ Champagne utilizes 10% reserve wines and was given 7G/L dosage. Right away this has salted praline notes on the palate alongside buttered French bread and a gorgeous core of rich citrus fruits. Enjoy now and over the next ten years. Drink 2024-2034– 93
