TruthTeller is a fun, vibrant brand out of Walla Walla that was founded by Chris and Dawn Loeliger. They make a beautiful range of wines from crisp Rose and Albarino to ink Cabernet. The Loeligers have a tasting room in downtown Walla Walla that I have visited before, and they make roughly 1,800 cases of wine a year. Chris is a Northwest Wine Academy graduate.
The wines that he makes are seriously good. I think they are getting better and better.
I love the new 2023 TruthTeller ‘Frolic’ Viognier (OB, 92) which has plenty push/pull in terms of weight and tension. I love the new 2023 ‘Quip’ Rose (OB, 92) which is fresh and vibrant with lovely earthy tones.
