Today we share one of the outstanding value producers in the Willamette Valley. Haden Fig is the brainchild of Erin Nuccio. For years Nuccio worked for a wine retailer in Washington D.C. He later entered wine distrubitoon and later headed west to Northern California. It was there that he built his wine education by attending enology and viticulture school. After working in Napa he decided to move northwards to the Willamette Valley. He drove up to Evesham Wood and met Russ Raney who became a mentor and a good friend. It is from this relationship that Haden Fig was built. Nuccio is now at the helm of Evesham Wood.
The new Haden Fig wines were really good. I love the great value 2022 Haden Fig ‘Juliette’ Chardonnay (OB, 92) which is beautifully textured and rich. Learn more at https://eveshamwood.com/our-story-haden-fig/ and here are my reviews of the new Haden Fig wines.

2022 Haden Fig ‘Freedom Hill Vineyard’ Pinot Noir- The ‘Freedom Hill Vineyard’ has some of the oldest plantings in Oregon for Pinot Noir.
