Today we share one of the historic properties in the Napa Valley. Markham Vineyards was founded by Jean Laurent, an immigrant from Bordeaux. He arrived in 1852 to participate in the gold rush. It was 1975 that Bruce Markham purchased several sites in Yountville and Calistoga to produce his own line of wines in 1978. Markham was later sold to Mercian Corporation. It has been owned by Kirin since 2019. Kimberlee Nicholls serves as head winemaker.
