Today we share one of the finest values that you will find in Woodinville. Morgan Lee is one of the nicest guys you will meet in the Washington wine industry. Hard-working and earnest, Lee is a former Purdue grad that formerly starred at Columbia Crest before helping found Two Vintners. Lee has a brilliant range of wines including probably the best Zinfandel in Washington. He also makes a killer orange wine called ‘O.G’ which graced my Top 100 last year.
One again he has shone his 2023 Two Vintners ‘O.G.’ Gewurtztraminer (OB, 93) which is brimming with depth, flavor complexity and texture. I adored the 2022 Two Vinters ‘Claire’ Grenache (OB, 95) which shows the pretty side of the Boushey Vineyard.
