It is my pleasure to share the wines of Turnstile Cellars, a newer house in Sonoma. Last year I had never tasted these wines and was remarkably impressed. They show excellent flavor density, texture and tension.
A former employee with Rivers-Marie, winemaker Jidhin Ramankutty packed his bags and moved to California to pursue winemaking. 2025 Turnstile Cellars ‘White Dragonfly Sonoma County’ Chardonnay- The 2025 Turnstile Cellars ‘White Dragonfly Sonoma County’ Chardonnay comes off soft and approachable on the mouth. Layers of Meyer lemon zest, white peach and juicy starfruit all combine with salted French bread. The length here is outstanding. Drink 2026-2033- 93
