Here are the outstanding fall releases by Reali.
It is my pleasure to share the new wines of Reali, a newer house founded in Walla Walla. In 2021 Ken and Kristin Reali settled in the Walla Walla Valley, planting their 15-acre estate vineyard in spring 2023, focusing on both classic French varieties and select Italian varieties. Serge Laville is at the helm, having made beautiful wines for Spring Valley in the past. He has received multiple recognitions in the Wine Spectator top 100. Serge follows a minimalist approach to winemaking that ensures high quality wines focusing on the characteristics of each variety. The new wines were really good. I love the 2024 Reali Syrah (OB, 95) which comes from the famed Stoney Vine Vineyard and has marvelous Rocks character. Learn more at https://www.realifamilyvineyard.com
2025 Reali Vermentino- Sourced from their estate vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley, this 2025 Vermentino offers excellent tension with layers of melon fruits mingled well with Meyer lemon and brioche tones on the palate. This is exceedingly well-done. Drink 2026-2032- 92
2024 Reali Syrah- Sourced from the acclaimed Stoney Vine Vineyard in the Rocks District, the 2024 Reali Syrah offers blood orange zest, black olive tapenade and sanguine tones alongside shades of black licorice and dark florals. The palate is beautifully-balanced with amazing Rocks character and serious tension and texture. A total stunner, watch this evolve now and over the next eight to ten years. Drink 2026-2034- 95
2024 Reali Cabernet Franc- Coming from the famed Red Willow Vineyard in the Yakima Valley, the 2024 Reali Cabernet Franc is wonderfully balanced on the mid-palate. Green herbs, tobacco leaf, dark currants and orange bell pepper flavors play together with remarkable verve and salty tension. A delightful wine to consume now, enjoy over the next ten plus years to come. Drink 2026-2036- 94
