News out of Snohomish, Washington today, as Quilceda Creek has pledged to donate 100% of profits from their new 2020 Quilceda Creek Horse Heaven Hills Sauvignon Blanc (100%) and 2020 Quilceda Blanc Columbia Valley White Wine (66% Semillon, 34% Sauvignon Blanc) to World Central Kitchen. These sensational wines were recently rated 95 points and 97 points by myself, making them some of the top wines out of roughly 1K wines tasted in my Vinous Washington Report.
World Central Kitchen is a nonprofit founded by famed chef Jose Andres’ nonprofit World Central Kitchen, which began serving hot meals within hours of the initial invasion of Ukraine and quickly set up at the eight border crossings with Poland.
I wanted to offer my heartfelt congratulations for this incredible gesture by Quilceda Creek director of winemaking Paul Golitzin and his team.
